Before you get started, it is important to know that anyone looking to be employed in the property industry will be required to complete the Assistant Agent course. By completing this course, you will gain an introductory understanding of all aspects of the real estate industry. This includes a high-level understanding of sales, property management, trust accounts, and legislation. You will also gain valuable communication skills which will support a successful start in your new role.
Once you have completed this course you will be issued with a ‘Statement of Attainment’ outlining the required units of competency. This statement can be used to apply to the Office of Fair Trading (OFT), along with the necessary application to receive your Certificate of Registration in either Real Estate or Stock and Station.
Your Certificate of Registration is valid for four years, during which time you will be required to complete the Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419) and transition to a Class 2 licence.
As part of the enrolment process, all participants will be required to complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) test as part of Government regulations. This test will confirm that you are ready and suitable to complete the training course.

The Property and Stock Agents Act 2002 states – anyone undertaking the functions of a salesperson or property manager in NSW must be registered as an assistant agent and hold a Certificate of Registration.
A NSW Assistant Agent Course – Certificate of Registration allows you to work in a real estate office in either sales, property management, or an administrative/support role. An assistant agent does have limited duties and must work under the direct supervision of a licenced agent.
The course must be completed within 6 months of enrolment.
All learners undertaking this course are required to provide their USI (Unique Student Identifier).
To obtain a NSW Certificate of Registration, applicants are required to complete the prescribed units of competency:

VIRTUAL INTERACTIVE CLASSROOMS
If you are looking for the ultimate learning experience, our 5-day workshops will accelerate your learning while giving you a completely interactive experience with other learners who are also looking to enter the Real Estate industry. Classes are conducted via the Zoom platform and run for 5 consecutive days. Participants will complete their assessments as part of our learning program in class.

Our online training courses are unlike many in the industry. User-friendly, easy to navigate, and offering great support your online training program will allow you to complete your training course in your own time and at your own pace. Via the portal, learners have access to trainers via email who can assist with any queries that arise.
Assessments are graded within a short period of time with feedback and comments submitted for review.
