ACCOMMODATING CPD WITH FLEXIBLE OPTIONS

Commencing from the 23rd March 2020, all licensed agents and assistant agents are required to conform with the new regulations regarding CPD. Agents are required to completed the required CPD between March 23rd and March 22nd of each year. The individual CPD requirements for each licence level have been strengthened, which includes increased hours of training and dividing CPD into compulsory and elective topics.

 

Annual CPD training for for class 1 and class 2 license holders will consist of 6 hours of training. This is required to be split into 3 hours of compulsory topics and 3 hours of elective topics.

 

From March 23rd 2021, there will be an additional 3 hours required for class 1 license holders consisting of business skills topics.

Utilising a number of methods of delivery, we offer diversity and flexibility for you to complete your required Continual Professional Development (CPD). Students have the option of completion via our online platform, zoom webinar or group training for individual offices for groups of 5 or more.

ELECTIVE TOPICS

All class 1 and class 2 license holders are required to complete 3 hours of elective CPD topics each year. For the 2020 / 2021 CPD year we will be offering CPD from the following topics.

Property practice (sales and property management, strata and community management, stock and station agency, business sale or business broking, commercial and industrial property)
Marketing skills and/or practice communication skills and/or practice property transaction legal requirements
Ethics and professional responsibility
Marketing and quality control
Workplace health and safety
Legislation and compliance

 

Completion of one unit from the relevant diploma is equivalent to 3 hours of elective topics.

All students will be required to complete an assessment in order to receive a certificate of satisfactory completion.

This course meets all the requirements as set down by NSW Office of Fair Trading for the completion of your compulsory CPD component.

COMPULSORY TOPICS

All Class 1 and Class 2 license holders are required to complete 3 hours of compulsory CPD each year. The topics are determined by Office of Fair Trading and can only be delivered by approved providers. For the CPD calendar year March 23rd 2020 to March 22nd 2021, the training to be completed are as follows:

 

Real estate reforms, including trust account requirements ( 1 hour)
Rules of conduct (1 hour)
Risk management - as is applicable to the agent's licence category (1 hour)

 

All students will be required to complete an assessment in order to receive a certificate of satisfactory completion.

This course meets all the requirements as set down by NSW Office of Fair Trading for the completion of your compulsory CPD component.

CPD Fees 

Online / Webinar Course Fees: $110 per person  

Students once enrolled, will be given access to the online portal and the zoom webinar link if they are completing via webinar. Via the online portal they will be able to access all necessary resources as well as being able to complete assessments. As part of the online course, students will be able to communicate with a trainer / assessor should they require assistance as well as being able to book a time to receive further personalised assistance.  All zoom webinars have provisions for Q & A as well as after session support.

 

We Come To You Training: $165 per person (minimum 5 people)

For groups of 5 people or more, we are able to facilitate your office group and attend to your office to complete the required CPD training. (Current Covid-19 restrictions will effect ability to visit offices). Adopting the same principals, we can offer a personalised zoom meeting for your office which is an interactive session with open communication between learners and trainers.
